Quietly situated in an elevated position in the small peaceful village of Thornton-in-Craven, nr Skipton.  The famous Pennine Way runs through the village and the stunning Yorkshire Dales are close by. The Cottage offers delightful and tranquil holiday accomodation which is an ideal retreat for couples. The lounge and bedroom are at first floor level to take advantage of the beautiful and far-reaching views across open countryside to the moors beyond. There is also a television in every room so there will be no need to fight over the remote.

Furnished and decorated to a particularly high standard, the bedroom has a luxurious wooden sleigh bed with a brand new deep pocket 2000 spring mattress ensuring a restful nights sleep. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard to include electric oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, double toaster and Nespresso Inissia coffee machine . The kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor and enjoy patio doors to the front with seating on a small private terrace overlooking the moors . There is also an enclosed lawned garden with loungers and a patio at the rear of the cottage with rattan seting and coffee table. The garden  is screened for privacy with hedge & fence – ideal for lazy summer evenings and to enjoy the amazing sunsets.

Accommodation details

Ground floor

Property has gas fired central heating and comprises:
Kitchen/Diner: With electric oven and gas hob, built-in microwave, fridge with icebox, dishwasher and washer dryer. Dining table and chairs, patio doors with excellent views leading onto small paved terrace with seating.

First floor

Lounge: With TV, DVD, Freeview, radio. High quality German leather sofa & 2 armchairs (one being an electric recliner)  so you can  relax and take in the amazing views from all windows
Bedroom : With wooden sleigh bed and deep sprung mattress with fitted wool topped electric blanket for colder nights, 2 bedside units, double wardrobe, large chest drawers and wall mounted television .
Shower Room: With shower cubicle, wash basin, mirror, WC, heated towel rail and shaver point.

Outside there is  private off road parking for 2 cars and an enclosed lawned & patio garden with all weather rattan 3piece suite & coffee table for an al fresco relaxing cup of coffee.  Although the cottage is adjoing the owner’s property it is entirely self-contained with own access, parking & private garden.

Facilities:  All towels & bedding included . electric blankets for cooler months. Fee internet access available for browsing & emails. Gas & electricity useage included

Accessibility Statement: The cottage has it’s own private parking area for 2 cars and is gravel based. Through the entance gate it is a solid pathway leading to the cottage with 2 steps down. The outside area is paved and lawned. There is one step up into the cottage itself.
